R	Russell Sakauye on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service, amazing food, and bonus points for the home cooked meal atmosphere! Please be mindful this is not an AYCE (All You Can Eat), which is a great thing! We started with the yellow tail collar (white fish, very meaty, and perfectly grilled), chicken karaage (fried to perfection, with a tasty seasoning), Ikura sushi (2 pieces), Inari sushi (2 pieces), and an amazingly fresh and nicely spiced crunchy spicy tuna roll order (6 pieces). Our mains were a very nice cut and perfectly grilled teriyaki salmon (home made terriyaki sauce on the side wasn't really needed!) teppan dinner and AAA Canadian Beef steak teppan dinner (cooked medium, yet still tender and flavourful). Finished off with a refreshing bowl of matcha green tea ice cream! Our new favourite authentic Japanese restaurant that is run by a very friendly Japanese(-Canadian) family!!!

I had an amazing experience both food and customer service wise. The place is very clean, washroom is accessible for customers and hand sanitizers are available every table. Being a native Japanese person, I always crave for Japanese food since I haven't been able to go back to Japan due to COVID-19. The food here hit the spot. Very good food portions, fresh ingredients and flavors are just as I expected. Pricing is very fair especially since you're in Niagara (very similar pricing you'd expect anywhere in the GTA). There is parking by the place as well if you wanted to access by car. The staff here is very attentive and is always keeping an eye out to make sure all their customers are satisfied with their food. I was actually waiting for my nabeyaki udon for a while but the staff apologized for their mistake which I appreciated it alot. As someone who have experiences in customer service, I was very happy with the service they provided. I will definitely be back here and it certainly is a place you should try if you're craving authentic Japanese food!

I liked white tuna, salmon and mackerel especially. I didn’t feel any unpleasant fishy taste or smell. My partner had eel bowl and it was sooooo great too!! It was the best Asian cuisine I’ve ever had recently!! Will be there again ????

Do not pay $20+ at a chain place on the hill for a mediocre meal, walk 3 minutes for something genuinely good! We took 3 bottles of homemade dressing away with us.
