★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jane is very knowledgeable and has the right approach in training your puppy or dog. Over 18 years ago I had gone to Jane with our first dog and had great success. When our dog passed and we were ready to get another dog I had tried puppy classes with another company. Our puppy did very well. However I was disappointed in how little was taught and lack of structure in training your dog for desired behaviors. I decided to continue training my puppy and went back to Jane Book we ended up taking beginner, advanced and agility. It amazed me how much Jane felt we had been taught the wrong tactics in puppy training with the other organization. It took me some time after learning her training approach that she was right. She was teaching me the skills to get the desired behavior I wanted from my dog in a very positive way. Four years later and with a new addition to our family I am back taking classes again with Jane. Training a puppy is not easy it can be quite frustrating. This time around I find it much easier, maybe I retained training tactics from previous classes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our puppy Storm had some serious socialization issues but after participating in the Puppy Socialization Classes with Jane and her associates, she made some amazing gains. They are kind, patient and very knowledgeable about dog behaviours. You can tell that they genuinely like the dogs they are working with, even the difficult ones. We are grateful for their help and would highly recommend this program.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very large classes of up to 10 +dogs and owners in small area . Chaotic. Not structured enough or with personal Dog focused lessons and demonstrations. Too much distraction for puppies .Didn’t work for us. Dropped out after 3 classes. Need a smaller personal class. Also, we sensed trainer is somewhat condescending with dog owners.
Better $$value with personal training.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have truly enjoyed Jane's training programs and the courses are about educating dog owners to train their dogs by using positive reinforcement. Our dog has been attending since she was 12 weeks old, and she completed junior, senior and advanced classes. We took advantage of the puppy camp program because it reinforces the skills that our dog learned in school, so she gets the extra practice by Jane's staff who are dog trainers.
Jane's staff are approachable and willing to answer any questions or concerns that we had.
We would highly recommend Jane's dog school for obedience training.
