★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They want you to tip them through their debit machine when paying at the till. For what exactly? For not greeting me when I come in the store? For not asking if I need help finding anything? For bagging my over priced beer?
It's discouraging to see a retail store passively panhandling for money at the till, especially with the already inflated prices of alcohol at this location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful selection and storefront ruined completely by having a tipping option and employees that turn sour when you don't tip them for standing at the cash register.
I don't know how we got to this point but it's really presumptuous to put a tipping option at the credit card machine with the employees looking expectantly at you. I literally go in and get my stuff and checkout, I don't bother the employees for anything. So why do they go from being pleasant and friendly to completely rude and silent after I pay my bill with no tip? Completely unfair and unprofessional. The owners and management should be ashamed they've pushed tipping culture to the point where I become more cheap just on principle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good clean liquor store, with friendly knowledgeable staff and good management. We've appreciated the dog-friendly atmosphere, we like using beer runs to give our buddy a walk. Great selection of single tall cans, would love to see more beer variety boxes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this liquor store, but the last few times I’ve gone there, I have been accosted by homeless people. The staff won’t ask them to move on, and the VPD is too busy not enforcing other laws to deal with it. It’s disgusting to be attacked every time you visit a store. Disgusting city.
