★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting history behind this gaol. Built in 1884. I had a brief stay in 1980. Very old and antiquated. But enjoyed the nostalgia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though not every part of the jail is open due to COVID we really enjoyed the place, with several volunteers explaining the story of the place. I would have loved to see all the place as the common parts are not showing much of the original building, but the cells on the basement are impressive
