Ever since I realized that I have a passion for teaching, I knew I wanted to work as a professional piano teacher and accompanist. Today, my primary goal is to nurture the love of music in all my students in a supportive and friendly piano studio. For the past 25 years in both Canada and Asia, I have taught piano to students of all ages, from beginners to advanced students.
In regards to my piano background, I studied with renowned Canadian pianists Marilyn Engle and Beverly Yee. As well, I obtained my ARCT Piano Performance through The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. These experiences have taught me that no matter whom I’m teaching I must thrive to see my students grow and develop their potential musical talent, trying my best to inspire them to have a lifelong love of music.
I feel rewarded when most of my students succeed in piano exams (ABRSM & RCM) with First Class Honours and Distinction. It is especially pleasing to see the students receive recognition at the Calgary Performing Arts Festival ( Kiwanis Music Festival).

I have seen great improvements in my son and he is showing more interests each day. Being a parent who’s new to piano, Miss Lee takes time to write down notes or even videos for me. So I could practise with my son at home. I highly recommend her to anyone who is interested in the piano lessons!

My wife made a long decision to restart learning piano, and luckily she found Jade, I believe Jade is a GREAT music mentor to my wife, I can feel my wife found the joy of learning Piano, and she complain less about work but sharing more of her new piano pieces every week.
Even though her job is still busy, seeing her learning from Do-Ri-Mi to RCM level two in just half year, I'm glad she found piano to fulfill her afterwork time.

I brought in my 2 boys 11 and 9 years old who had no prior knowledge of music and i am so wowed about what they have been able to grasp in 2 months. She is very patient and pays attention to every detail . Her teaching style is very supportive. I was talking to my boys about changing to a piano class closer to our house but they refused and said they would have no one else but Jade Lee?
She is great teacher and highly recommended!

They started piano late and I was a little skeptical but after the first class I was convinced that they would do very well. They absolutely loved it and were always excited about classes. They’ve learnt so much already and continue to improve. We’ve moved to online classes since the Covid 19 pandemic and they’ve sustained their progression. This is all thanks to Jade, who is patient and understanding with them. Jade is sensitive to how different they learn and approaches their learning uniquely. Thanks for all you do for the kids.
