20 YEARS IN SERVICE
More than 20 years ago, Mike Jacknife realized the opportunity to provide fluid hauling services to contracting oil companies. Leaving the timber industry, Mike and his brother started a one truck operation and began fluid hauling in the Elizabeth Metis Settlement area where Mike was born and raised. This early experience has been key in helping Mike expand his business as he has firsthand hauling experience and therefore has been able to better understand the needs of his clients and employees. Building the business from the ground up, Jacknife Oilfield is now an established firm with plenty of experience in transporting crude oil and produced water.
Mike is still deeply involved in the day to day operations and supervises the delivery of each contract. He values building strong relationships with his employees, contractors and clients and works to create a positive team atmosphere. He is well recognized in the industry and Jacknife Oilfield is a key player providing quality, timely fluid hauling services to major contractors throughout North Eastern Alberta for the past 20 years.
