In hindsight I recommend giving this place an opportunity to become a regular establishment in your rotation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food! Good sized portions and quite healthy variety of vegetables with the wake and bake chicken and beef brisket classic skillets. Love the inner decor as well! Cats and dogs galore if you're sitting in the back corner or in the washroom

Music was a little loud so you had to yell a bit for conversation, and could have been better with more variety. It was 90% speed metal while we were there. While the menu promised Black Sabbath.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is really so awesome and love the food served in a cast iron frying pan. Staff so cool and always killer music there. I always have a good time there and great drinks! - 2021 ownership changed and food is now 1/2 then what it was before great place for a beer tho.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going here for ages! Love the vibe, music, the people and the beer selection. But really miss the vegan/veggie food options! Used to have great brunch and the best jackfruit sandwich in town, now it’s mostly all meat. Other than the lack of veggie options (which I realize is personal preference) it’s one of the best bars in town!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The star of this place is definitely their staff! My friends and I had late dinner and some drinks, the prices were affordable and the portions very generous. Our servers were super friendly and attentive, definitely one of the best services we’ve had as a big group of latinos dining in Vancouver.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place! Brought some friends here and they loved it - the theme, the music, the space. Restaurant staff were attentive and checked in with us often. The “Coop of the Damned” appetizer plate had very delicious BBQ items and the Nachos had an excellent mix of cheese on different layers (not just the top). There’s street parking right out front at a reasonable rate (a buck an hour). Definitely recommended and will visit again.
