★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought this is a bar and restaurant. I always see this when passing by this area. Today we bike around the neighbourhood and personally check this out. It's an ice cream store that is open since 1961 as Thelma said If I am not mistaken. Who worked there for 11 years now. It is a cool place and their burgers and ice cream are delicious. When my partner goes out and it's so windy the hard ice cream fell down. He hehe but they are so nice to replace it without any cost. Appreciated. We enjoyed our stayed and met some of the local kids who loved ice cream. Our first time here, and will definitely come back for more flavoured ice cream. Highly recommended for everyone who is craving for ice cream or burgers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here on all our trips from northern Alberta to Calgary from 1964 to 1980. I returned May 1/21 to share an experience back in time with my daughter as we were traveling by. We were pleasantly surprised by the good burgers, copius amount of fries and the best icecream milkshake. I might request a toasted burger bun to match my memories of those from years ago on my next trip. Congrats to the family running this joint since 1961.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have always wanted to try this place. So when we were in spruce and there was no line we pulled in. The lineup in the past led us to believe it was out of this world delicious. We were so disappointed. We ordered a Spruce burger “deluxe” which was just add fries and drink. Also added a Chicago dog. We waited 15 minutes because the burger needed extra time. The Patty is not even homemade, nor fresh. The fries were cold they must have been waiting that entire 15 minutes in the bag. As well as the hotdog because the bun was soggy and all the ingredients were cold. We spent 19 dollars on this meal and it was disgusting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went through the drive thru, had to check three times that they had the order correct. (They did not, but did fix it before we paid. Was not a very complicated order, either.) As a warning, their sweet potato fries do not come with any dips, or if they do they did not include them. 20ish bucks for two burgers, the fries (kind of small for a regular size), and a small milkshake. Tasty all the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have loved this place for many years. The food is consistent and the service is friendly. They have a large menu that offers a wide variety of options. I typically order drive thru so have not seen the interior for quite a few years but the exterior is always being updated and decorated. It was opened in 1961 and still remains a great dining option located in Spruce Grove. I have family who are willing to drive in from Edmonton just to eat here and Jack's has never disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going here for years burgers were always bang on never had a bad experience untill this year this is the third time in a row I’ve been dissatisfied. today was the worst experience I’ve had thus far. I’d expect better quality controll in a mon and pop setting. Ordered a fish burger to go for something different today. Literally a piece of fish the 1/3rd of the size of the bun and 1/2 piece of a blade lettuce so this is the saddest thing I’ve seen Never would I expect this from jacks.
