Nice little trail - very easy to do, but a nice way to pass the time. We saw some seals at the end. Park at Jack Point Parking Lot to start the walk.

I love this park. It's approx. 5 km round trip. Hiking shoes recommended. Lots of stairs in the park which makes it not wheelchair friendly. You can often find seals swimming about, lots of birds, and a sweet spot for photography. You can expect to complete the hike in about 1 hr 10 min.

It was grueling hot when we visit this place this summer. But the trail has the beautiful scenery which helps you forget the tiring heat particularly when you reached the tree covered trail. Just a recommendation bring some sandwiches or snack before coming here because there are no restaurants or food shop nearby. We went here after our visit at Wildplay without taking any lunch. We thought we could find restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, we didn't. Nevertheless, it was still a gorgeous walk.

One of the best (if not the best) walks in Nanaimo, in my opinion. Beautiful mix of ocean and forest, as well as views of the Nanaimo cityscape, Mount Benson, Gabriola Island, and coastal mountains on the mainland. Nice mix too of flat walking with some elevation and stairs. Some portions may be accessible (right after the parking lot) for those with mobility issues.

Awesome trail! Some stairs throughout, as well as roots, so watch your footing! Beautiful views of Nanaimo and the mountains while you walk alongside the ocean/estuary. No toilets. Right next to the pulp mill so sometimes it's smelly. Lots of really neat places to look at the hole-y sandstone and sea life (birds, seals, etc.) A few benches along the trail. Great for dog walking.

Something for everyone ! Great walk for all ages and skill levels. Walk a little or a lot. Most of walk is stroller friendly and my 4 year old was able to walk the entire trail. Suitable for dogs. Lots of spots with benches and natural rest stops. Beach access and great ocean views. Keep an eye out for cool art work. Some stairs and harder trail towards end of walk. Enjoy
