The guys from JAB Floors installed laminate flooring in the living room in our apartment in October 2014 (our strata management does not allow laminate/hardwood in the bedrooms). Prior to the installation, they helped me choose from their laminate samples, explained the pros and cons of 8 mm vs. 12 mm laminate, considered transitions, etc. They brought the packaged laminate to my apartment a few days prior to doing the work to allow for proper acclimatization. On the pre-arranged installation day they showed up on time, brought in all their equipment on two dollies and installed everything (flooring and baseboard) in about 4 hours (the old flooring and baseboards had been already removed earlier). The building manager inspected the work twice -- once at the beginning of the process (to ensure use of proper poly underlayment and cork underlayment) and the second time closer to the end of the process (to confirm proper gaps between the flooring and the walls). She was impressed by the installers' timeliness and professionalism. They kept the entire area as clean as possible while doing the work (by using their vacuum every time they needed to cut pieces of laminate), and cleaned up the entire area completely once the work was finished. They took all their garbage away with them. Baseboard was also installed quickly and professionally, with caulking applied precisely along the baseboard length. I've had the flooring for about 5 months now, and it still looks perfect in all areas of the room. I would definitely recommend JAB Floors to anyone looking to renovate in the Greater Vancouver area.

My wife and I would recommend JAB Floors to anyone in Greater Vancouver Area who’s considering a laminate or hardwood flooring project. Last summer we replaced our carpet flooring with laminate in our three-level co-op townhouse. The guys from JAB did an outstanding job. First they provided me with a lot of useful tips on what kind of materials would suit the project the best. They showed me lots of samples of laminate, baseboard, and transitions. When we finally picked up the laminate type and colour that we wanted there was no transition available on the market that matched the laminate colour exactly. No problem with these guys - they said they would make a custom transition that would match the colour of our floor perfectly, and they did! It could be a small detail, but it really gives your floor that nice polished look and the whole floor looks more classy. One of the things that we appreciated a lot is that the JAB installers offered (at no additional charge!) to take away the old flooring materials (our old, stinky carpet, underlay and lots of other garbage) - that was a big help as I don’t have a van and it just would have been a major hassle for me to dispose of all this stuff. We loved the quality! All planks are tight, all looks very levelled, and the whole floor just feels very solid when you walk on it - no wiggling or shifting planks or anything like it. The reason that I mention it is that another member of our co-op told me that his laminate (another flooring company was used) floor is quite “wiggly” after only couple of years of installation. The manager of the coop did the inspection of the floors to make sure all the quality requirements were met and everything. She was very impressed and especially noted that all the small areas (closets, etc) were covered with baseboards very neatly; every little detail was executed properly. I’ve recommended JAB Floors to a few of my friends already. Great job guys! We really like our floors now. Thank you and keep on the good work.

We're a local Flooring Installation and Painting company, we had a laminate floor with a very hard color to match (greys and yellow). After going to many flooring looking for reducer to match my apartment floor, I went to JAB. The lady at the front was extremely helpful and despite the small amount I needed, searched through all their stock for a match. Not only that, the prices were so much better than hardware stores along with their selection. If I ever redo my floors I'm going to JAB.

THE BEST renovation experience I've had!! I have an older house so I've gone through a number of reno projects with various companies and contractors. I have to say that the experience with JAB Floors is exceptional! They replaced my upper floor (about 1200sq) in 3 days, including kitchen and a 14 flight stairs, with beautify laminates, and superior craftmanship. The result was astonishing.
