The shares were great, not only because of the more sustainable concept where little or nothing goes to waste, but also due to the high quality of the cuts selected. Since the store opened in Barton I have been going there to get a few picks rather than a whole share. Both Candice and Jamie are amazing, I show up and I ask what I want, even a vague idea, and they go out of their way to give me that or something similar. Everything is portioned and packaged to what I need. And the flavour of everything I get is just unreal. I am really glad that I can go and see them regularly now.

Jamie has the best quality meats and is always so helpful and accommodating when we need something that is not on the regular menu. Amazing, every single time! Highly recommended!!
J	Jade Yang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing find in our city! The meat has been absolutely phenomenonal quality, It is very hard to find a good pork butcher as beef and chicken are more common. All of the meats we've purchased are amazing quality. One of my friends came over and "accidentally" had some pork I made and she said usually pork makes her sick but she's had no issues at all with this pork, so I'm assuming it might be sensitivity to additives that isn't in this great quality meat. Will definitely be back, owners are extremely friendly and down to earth as well.

Always guided by what is right, safest, and best for all, I have followed him for many years now and we enjoy the quality he brings to our dinner table. Please ignore the keyboard warrior who just posted a 1 star because Jamie made a decision that is right for him & his family & safest for all concerned...if this clown actually knew Jamie, he would know this and would not have done him & his business the disservice of the review he left and the innuendo he left there about Jamie trying to rip people off financially. Shame on you, coward. Jamie--keep up the great work & we'll see you when we see you in the shop, in a workshop, or just out & about. Head-up, boss!

Jamie creates some truly swoon worth cuts and his style of nose to tail butchery has challenged me to become a more efficient (and better) home cook. I'm so happy we found this amazing shop!

He offers the highest quality meats- raised and butchered ethically (and without antibiotics and hormones) which is important to me. He offers a huge selection, but is willing to go above and source custom meats and create custom cuts, and help you pick the right cut for the recipe you want to cook. He is kind, friendly and truly cares about his customers. I haven’t purchased meat anywhere else, and nor will I ever. Best bacon I have ever had, hands down! And you must try the hot water crust meat pies (shoutout to Candice)- they’re all delicious, but the braised beef one is to die for!! Congratulations Jamie- you’re doing a wonderful job and clearly all these 5 star reviews show your hard work has paid off!

It was the best prime rib I've ever tasted, and online ordering and pickup were seamless. I appreciate that Jamie has been building relationships with local producers and look forward to continuing to support this local business and enjoy some great meals!
