I Enjoyed 6 Oysters & Then Indulged In The 'Thai Fighter' Which Was Absolutely Delicious. I Spoke To The Chef & The Recipe Comes From His Years Traveling The World Learning The Recipes of The Locals of Each Continent He Traversed. Staff Personalities Is 2nd To None With A Genuine Warm Friendly Air As If They've Known You For Years. To Top It Off They Have Live Music On Various Nights As Well To Add To The Enjoyment of Your Night Out. Highly Recommended & A Refreshing Change!! ????

Some relatives recommended it to us for dinner as one of their favorite local restaurants in Brampton, and it was definitely much better than so many places in the GTA. We had the special, white and red, Sangrias, Calamari Fritti, Spicy Nashville Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries, and The G.O.A.T. Beef Burger with Onion Rings. The calamari was cooked perfectly; the burger was undoubtedly one of the best that we’ve ever had; the big onions rings were unbelievable meaty and light; the sandwich was a flavorful big piece of crispy chicken breast; and the sangrias were delicious. The ambiance was cool and relaxed, and there was a local duo band playing good jams and keeping the mood up. The restaurant area is spacious, inside and outside, and the service was very friendly and diligent. If we lived closer, we would definitely come back more often.

It’s crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Dairy free cheese would be a good addition to the menu, but it wasn’t missed. Kudos to Amavel!

Perfect blend of the tasty olives, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes. Just lovely. Mimosa was good, so was the blueberry bourbon lemonade. The sugar on the rim of B52 was a bit too much for my liking, but the drink itself was good. Brett our server for the evening was very polite, and helped us out promptly with all our questions. The nostalgic songs playing greatly enhanced the mood.

So tender and the combination of the meat with everything around it has you salivating every single bite. The Bob & Doug is a classic burger that NEVER disappoints. If you are a burger addict like me, you need to try this! Overall, absolutely LOVE J Red. Every single time I go, it is always a great experience: from the staff, to the food to the ambience, it's all great!

The menu consisted of family style: house salad, chicken wings, calamari, steamed vegetables, pasta Primavera, Thai fighter (my husband's ultimate favorite dish), steak and potatoes, salmon and rice. The portions were generous. Everyone enjoyed the food and there was plenty of leftovers for them to take home. Thank you to J Red, especially Shannon for coordinating the order. It was great to have your recommendations and accommodating our requests.
