I have known Ivy for 8 years and worked a long side her for 6 years. I saw how she interacted with her customers and met their needs. She would do the simplist of mending seams and hems while customers waited to more intricate alterations. The pride Ivy takes in all of her work and seeing the satisfaction in her customers eyes is something to be very proud of. Some new clients would come to her to redo alterations that they had been unsatisfied with that had been done by other seamstresses. Ivy would be more than happy to fix these and wouldn't let her work go out until the client was completely satisfied. I personally had Ivy do some alterations for me from hems, shortening jacket sleeves, taking in waists on pants, altering riding jackets, formal dresses and a wedding gown. I would highly recommend Ivy Tailors for any of your tailoring needs, you will NOT be disappointed with her high quality of work and customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service.... Took a pair of pants in for alteration and needed a fast turnaround. Even though it was grad week and Ivy was obviously very busy she got them done on time.
Ivy is very personable and listened to my requirements, I asked for the cut to be identical to another pair of pants I showed her, upon comparison they are indeed identical. ?
The quality of alteration looks excellent and the price was very reasonable.
We will certainly use Ivy for any future alterations/repairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Each time I came in to this place to drop off my wedding dress and to pick it up after the alterations were done I left feeling horrible. My wedding dress is fitted and each time I came into this business I was told I needed to workout and to go on a diet. I can not express enough how much damage hearing things like this can do to someone and their mental health especially this day and age with people with body image issues as well as eating disorders. After dropping off my wedding dress over a month prior I came in to pick up my clothes at the date and time on my receipt given to me only to find that not all of my items were finished and that I would have to go out of my way to come back to pick them up later in the day as it was forgotten when I was coming in to pick up my items. Although the alterations are completed well the customer service was atrocious for the amount of money spent to alter my clothes.
