Not only that the prices are a third compared to the OEM price, their products give very good quality and the same page yield. Staff is really friendly and gives you all the information you need regarding printers.

The guy working there was very rude, he kept asking me when I last refilled my cartridge and that it wasn’t empty (obviously it’s empty otherwise I wouldnt be bringing it to the store), he kept saying he can refill it but it’s not going to “work” whatever that meant, but he didn’t even explain to me why. So I left it there and came back after 20 mins and he told me it didn’t work, he tried to print using the cartridge and only half the page printed, and I had to buy a new cartridge. Of course I thought it was suspicious but I needed it ASAP for my kids online school work. So I bought a new cartridge and also took my old one back. Luckily I took the old one back because when I tried it at home, it worked PERFECTLY FINE! I printed over 30 pages of school work and they were all printed with no issues! Now I have an extra cartridge that I didn’t need to begin with. I feel like I was scammed into buying a new one. I don’t know what kind of business is being run there but I would avoid going there at all costs!

Getting desperate to find an alternative way to get what I needed, I contacted Island Ink Jet. During COVID even, the service was direct, fast, excellent and within about 20 minutes I was driving back home with what I needed. Will definitely make this my new “go to” place to get printer ink, as a refill or if I want to buy a new cartridge — best service and great price point for either.

In fact they were HP but I had them refilled at COSTCO last year 2020. Now this year 2021 as they began to get low the printer didn’t recognize them as HP & wanted me to buy new ones online! Sadly, COSTCO stopped the refill service and I had to look elsewhere. Fortunately I ran across Island Jet Ink in-the Giant Tiger plaza Newmarket and I went there! The person there checked them and told me they still had plenty of ink left so I should bring the back when they were empty! He could have topped them up & I wouldn’t have known the difference. So now it is about 8 months later and my HP is refusing to print because it says my cartridges are empty again. One guess where I am going to get them refilled? BTW - There is a Google search for getting around the HP refusal to print - just look for it!

My ink cartridge leaked all over my dining room and broke inside my printer took me a half an hour to remove it and clean up. shopkeeper couldn’t care less - he issued my refund without an apology or offering steps to make things right. I brought in 2 other cartridges and he offered me no help or assistance in determining the status of those cartridges. Go to Staples. Order on Amazon. Do not give him your business.
