★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have known Dave for a long time and never seen him in action on the job, when I had a issue he was the logical guy to call. He came over jumped on the roof and looked at the issue, told me exactly where it originated and the best course of action to repair it, which I then had done the next day!!! Saved me a tonne of stress and money. He does this career a lot better then he golfs ;)

He walked us through each item in the report to ensure we understood every aspect. His expertise took the guesswork out of the process.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Island Home Inspection was Fantastic!! We were really worried because we were purchasing a home from out of town and unable to attend an inspection. We found them on Google and were so happy that they worked out so well. Dave was extremely knowledgeable and helped us through the process flawlessly. The report we received was very thorough and easy to follow. Dave took us through the report and answered all of our questions and followed up on all of our concerns with the house. We have been in our new home for a couple of months now and have referred back to the report several times. It was spot-on on the things to look out for. I would recommend them (and have) to anyone. Also, the price was perfect.

His thorough inspection of every area of the house to which he could gain access resulted in a detailed report with recommendations that gave us confidence in our home-to-be. We particularly appreciated his comments and explanations during the walkthrough once he'd completed his work: he gave simple, straightforward answers to questions we asked as the result of our total ignorance of building standards in Canada as opposed to the UK. We're very grateful to David and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a thorough, professional inspector.

He was able to accommodate my request on a short notice, showed up on time and was extremely meticulous. After spending hours going through every nook and cranny he went over every detail with me one by one and provided some personal opinion and expertise based on his experience. To top it all off sent me a thorough and professional electronic report with photos within minutes of finishing the inspection and was then available by phone to answer my follow up questions. What else do I need from a home inspector?
