★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst haircutting experience of my entire life. I requested a relatively simple haircut for a male, ended up with an angle buzzcut going up one side of my head. Having realized I now looked like I'd fallen asleep and Bam Margera got me, I requested the salon simply shave it all off so I could settle for the slightly more appealing look of Ewan McGregor from Trainspotting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They do not know how to cut people of colour’s hair. Or hair in general.
I like my hair to be straight across at the bottom but when she cut it, it was diagonal at the bottom then got annoyed when I asked to fix it. I ended up just giving up and leaving and fixed it myself. I also felt forced to give a tip. Hate this place, but wait times are very short so if you are desperate, it’s not too bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to get a cut and I asked the hairdresser to cut my hair using scissors because I prefer how it looks that way. My request to have my hair cut with scissors was refused after a 5 min discussion of me talking to a brick wall and it was cut entirely using clippers. I wanted to leave part way through because it was so bad. Every haircut I have had in my life has been cut with scissors, I don’t understand why I was refused. My untrained girlfriend cut my hair better than here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Holy mother of God, they butchered my husbands hair so bad that he just asked them to shave the whole thing off and we didn’t pay. Disgraceful! On Valentine’s Day too!! Terrible. Now he has to wear a hat for 2 months.
He asked for a simple haircut (showed a reference picture) and they basically gave him a half Mohawk?!? He even spoke up while she was cutting but she didn’t stop and listen to him.
This is a warning for all the men out there, just go to a Barbour shop, they don’t know what they are doing here!!! Not only is this service disappointing but it is infuriating. The hairdresser should be ashamed of herself for doing this to someone.
