S	Shaun Cerisano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried calling for an appointment to look at possible plantars fasciitis, and was told by the receptionist it's a life long condition without a cure and all Dr. Hollingsworth could do for me was orthotics. A simple google search shows plantars fasciitis can be treated and reversed, let alone the other people I have know who have had this condition successful treated by a podiatrist. I have no idea how good the Doctor himself is, but the receptionist was ignorant and rude.

Someone needs to learn some customer service skills! It takes a lot to upset me and I was just treated like absolute garbage.
E	Emily Geen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed with my custom orthotic experience with Dr. Hollingsworth. I had been a bit suspicious of how quickly he diagnosed me at the initial consultation, but he is a good salesman and I had enough trust in the process. I have benefits and was experiencing debilitating ankle pain, so I was feeling desperate and anxious to get some orthotics ASAP, as they seemed like a logical solution to my problem. And they would have been, if he had taken more time to properly assess my gait and properly prescribe them! After 3 months of struggling to resolve my issue under his care, and several "adjustments," which involved repeatedly increasing the foam forefoot padding (which clearly wasn't working), and telling me to just keep wearing an ankle brace, I finally decided to get a proper gait analysis and 2 other medical opinions on my issue. Both of the other practitioners believe Dr. Hollingsworth created an orthotic for me that supports my feet in the exact opposite ways to how it should - the orthotics he prescribed have been ENCOURAGING my bad gait pattern for the past 3 months, exacerbating my ankle pain. Hopefully not too much damage has been done. Be very wary of seeing Dr Hollingsworth for orthotics. A thorough gait analysis is so important and should be part of the procedure. Find a practitioner who will take the time with you to find a solution.
K	Kaitlyn Ann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I had never come here over a year ago. Having no idea how podiatrists work, I hope no one else in the city is like this. While the assistants and reception were friendly and pleasant to interact with, I didn't have the same experience with Dr. Hollingsworth. He seemed kind enough, and gave me a quick diagnosis, but was chronically 20-30 minutes late. Every follow up, I would sit in the room for 30 minutes, waiting, and he would come in and take less than 30 seconds before leaving. It truly felt like I didn't matter. They do not do direct billing here. Expect to shell out $700 at your first appointment, as once I was done with my initial consultation, I was kind of corralled into agreeing with treatment. They didn't give me an option to think it over, but instead went ahead right away with taking my money. As an anxious, young person, I didn't know how to deal with this and went ahead with it. I didn't bother with my last appointment with them, as I felt like they truly did not care or want to assist with my health. I've seen other clinics in Victoria charge around $300-400 for one set of orthotics with direct billing, so perhaps I should have done more research, but the lack of reviews or knowledge about the clinic didn't give me much choice.

Knowledgeable and professional he helped with an overuse injury common in my field of work. Prices for orthotics were standard market prices. Definitely recommend.

He is amazing and very professional and his receptionist was also very personable and professional herself. Would highly recommend this doctor and this clinic
H	Hallie Bryant on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was honestly SO disappointed by my visit to this clinic that I cried in my car after I left because I felt so rushed, demoralized, and uncared for. I am suffering from horrible left foot pain due to newly developed plantar faschiitis, and I went for an assessment. The visit was supposed to last 1 hr but the doctor spoke to me for less than 15 minutes, said the only thing he could do for me was orthotics that would be quite a few hundred dollars, they would only keep my foot scan for 1 month (essentially pressuring me to buy the expensive orthotics or waste my visit fee) and I was charged over a 100$ just for the 15 minute visit. The best part of the visit was when the Uvic coop student came and taped up my foot and taught me how to do it myself. Compliments to her, because she was the only person at that clinic who I felt cared about helping me out. The biggest rip off ever, go anywhere else I'm sure it will be better.

During the appointment I was simply told my existing orthotics were functioning well, but I should nonetheless replace them every year. I was then told surgery was unrealistic. When the ~15 minute appointment concluded, with the doctor speaking so quickly I could barely understand them, I was told there would be a $120 charge to have any of the information written down. I will not be returning. My past experiences have been far less expensive for far more comprehensive care.
