We chose Irock for our destination wedding after meeting Deepa. Deepa was amazing! She is one of the calmest and sweetest people I’ve ever come across. Our wedding was beyond anything I could have even imagined; her and her team perfected everything for us. Weddings are super stressful and I can honestly say Deepa took most of the stress off of our shoulders, this was very important to us as both my husband and I were incredibly busy prior to the wedding and had very little time to focus on all the details that go into the big day. Thankfully, we found someone we could trust to handle the details of one of the most important days in our lives. The result was a dream like wedding with our guests still talking about it 1 month later. Thank you Deepa!

I was a vendor working with Deepa and her team. I left a review before, but I am just arriving back from working with her on a multi-day destination wedding in Mexico. I have to say that she and her team are amazing. Obviously with Caribbean weather, items of the wedding change. Her and her team were so calm and focused during changes. I was truly amazed!! As a vendor, she was on top of everything and was very informative in a timely manner. That is all we ask when working with wedding planners. My wife and I booked our magical wedding in Mexico Hardrock Cancun for May 2020, due to the pandemic we had to cancel our destination wedding. Throughout the entire process of planning our wedding we had the pleasure to have Deepa Mahal by our side. Although we had to cancel our destination wedding, Deepa was able to assist through each step. Going back to our initial meeting, from the moment we met Deepa we were amazed by how professional, knowledgeable and humble she is. Planning our wedding with her was easy breezy,as she guides us through all of the steps. Despite the wedding not happening in Mexico, Deepa was still there for us during our local wedding. We highly recommend the Irock team!

I had the pleasure of having Deepa as my wedding planner! My fiancee and I went through a long process of going through many destination wedding planner to find the right fit for us. Deepa is so easy to get along with and can bring ANY vision to life. She planned our dream wedding and I couldn't have asked for any additional support. Although we were 3 months away from our wedding, and COVID hit she was accommodating to all of our needs and was always available to talk. We were linked with JT from hype travel as well through Deepa and he was amazing! My guests raved about him, and how fast he was to get back to every single person that needed assistance. I have 0 complaints and although my wedding didn't happen in Mexico, they have made canceling a wedding stress free and even planning the wedding stress free. Highly recommended!

Working with Deepa on my sisters wedding was an absolute joy! We had a vision for each event and she was able to make each vision a reality. Being the sister of the bride, I had quite a bit of responsibilities. And it was overwhelming at times hosting over 100 guests. Deepa was able to not only play her role, but see beyond her role and help out on personal matters. Deepa and her entire team, knew what to do and when to do it. Without the team, I don’t know what we would have done. If you’re considering getting a wedding planner for a destination wedding use iRock Weddings. And specifically get Deepa to the wedding. She has such a strong and calming presence, the moment she walks in everything goes perfectly. We couldn’t be happier.

Jay Grewal and Hype Travel + iRock Weddings. Everything & more. We booked a travel agent to help us with helping coordinate flights and transportation to & from the airport to the resort. I am not sure how we were so blessed to get everything and more through Jay, JT Singh, Deepa, and the entire team. To mention a few examples briefly, we spoke to Jay close to 3x/day answering any and every question we threw at him (and trust us, we had a lot). He went above and beyond to help secure a Kirpan for my entrance as a groom, the Hard Rock Suite, Limo Transport upon both the bride & groom’s arrivals, and again, so much more. Jay was a vendor at the end of the day and did his job, but the beauty of how he worked was his actions continuously reminded you he was on YOUR side. Jay demanded responses from the resort and other vendors when we weren’t hearing back (this is common if you haven’t started planning yet), he used his political capital and pulled in favors for us left, right, and center from the smallest things like making sure the rooms can move certain guests around to getting us multiple taste testing’s and site visits upon the changing of the chef (multiple times). In addition to all this, he personally greeted all our guests and spoke to every single person before they booked a room and did simple things like grabbing me a red bull before the reception when I was on 3 hours of sleep. The task of organizing a Destination Wedding is already tough enough. Surrounding yourself with the RIGHT people such as Jay are absolutely vital for the success of your events or else you’ll be in misery. We are so grateful and thankful to have gotten to know Jay from not only this perspective, but as a lifelong friend. He treats your wedding as his wedding, and he shows his care into making sure everything goes how you planned or he’ll die trying. When looking for a destination wedding planner and coordinator, do not look further than Jay. You’ll be happy to have him and regret not having him if you choose otherwise.

Deepa helped me plan my dream wedding in Cancun and because of her it was perfect. Literally everything we had planned was executed so flawlessly and was so much better than I had imagined all because of her. Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, working with Deepa was so easy, and I did not have a single issue with her or the iRockWeddings team. The whole planning and wedding process was smooth and seamless. Our 4-day event went off without a single hitch and was even better than I had ever hoped it could be. Every one of my wedding guests said multiple times that this was the best wedding that they had ever been to, and told me several times that my planner was incredible. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Deepa Mahal for our wedding in Mexico. Background: We met Deepa at a destination wedding in 2020 and instantly knew that we just could not go with anyone else for our destination wedding. She went above and beyond for the wedding party which felt so good to see. We all know how stressful planning a wedding could be, but her efforts made it so easy. When we approached Deepa for our initial wedding planning meeting she had all the information we needed to know for the resorts and made sure our needs were met. From helping us pick our resort, deciding on our decor, food, and the entire itinerary -this left us with the best memories of our events. There was never a moment where my partner and I, and our families felt as if something was missing or something was not done right. Our families were so happy and enjoyed every moment. Why? Because all they had to do was dress up and enjoy the night as soon as the event started. Our friends and family, constantly complimented us saying "everything is perfect" and we always said "It's all thanks to Deepa". Deepa you ROCK !
