I started working with Jake a few months ago. I am a competitive powerlifter. Having competed at world's I understand the hard work that's needed to get that level. Aging is definitely taking a toll on my body. I'm working with Jake to ensure a more rounded training program that will allow my strength to grow without stressing these old arthritic joints. I can truthfully say I'm not aching the same way I did prior to Jake's programming. I can actually lift my arms overhead and move in a more comfortable fashion. I'm improving joint mobility while increasing my strenght! I highly recommend working with Jake.

I've been working with Jake for a few months; the focus on gaining proper balance without compensating. He's on time, attentive, very knowledgeable about the body, follows up with emails and a lot of fun to work with. My balance and strength have improved, which was the goal, plus I enjoy my workouts very much. Thanks Jake!

I highly recommend Jake to anyone looking at resolving difficult injuries or wanting to take their performance to the next level. He has a keen eye for detail and can track where the issues are arising. With his in depth knowledge, he creates a program that is specific for you and what you want to achieve. I’ve worked with Jake for a variety of different reasons β€” injury recovery/prevention, improving performance in high level gymnastics, and more recently, to transition away from gymnastics and into a fun and challenging workout routine. He’s always been so knowledgeable, supportive and motivating throughout my journey. I started with Jake 2 months ago and all I can say is I wish I had found him sooner! Jake tailors the program to my needs and goals. I'm excited about the process, love going to the gym and looking forward to reaching my goals. On top of it he is a really nice guy!

I have been training with Jake for over 3 years. I started to strengthen my knee prior to knee replacement. We worked full body exercises. I felt strong and confident when I had my knee replacement and my recovery was rapid and easy. My physio was amazed at how well I did and I was back cycling in 3 months and skiing in 6 months. I continued with training with Jake twice weekly and still do so. He pivoted rapidly to virtual training during Covid and that has worked well for me. He is so observant virtually and is able to correct posture, position etc. He is also able to quickly adapt to new issues that have arisen in my aging body!! Jake is a knowledgeable, skilled, fun trainer to work with. I highly recommend him!

I have been working with Jake for over 5 years and he is simply the best. For someone who was new to the gym, training with Jake has given me the confidence to work at improving my health through our sessions, diet and to push myself through my previous limits. During this time I was involved in a car accident and with Jake’s knowledge and skill he was able to assist me to keep moving during this time. I consider myself fortunate to be able to train with Jake on regular basis!

Jake has been my trainer for several years. He is always professional, caring, intuitive to my needs and really knowledgeable. With his help I have been able to stay active and in good shape. I lost 20 lbs in the last two years because of his help and encouragement. I have been able to walk many miles most days. And last but not least my bones are still strong and in good shape. He'll be great if you are an athlete needing more strength and performance training, or an older person like myself who needs to keep my body moving and strengthening. With Jake, you'll be in good hands.
