Cecilia is the best! She is very kind, considerate and patient. Aside from her warm personality, Cecilia is very knowledgeable and professional. If you have a chance to meet other instructors, you will also be motivated by their enthusiasm and professionalism. I would recommend to have IBI as your foundation if you wish to further your career in the beauty industry.

I had a great experience here. I took the Medi-Spa program and the teachers and staff are all kind. The teachers are very supportive, passionate, and knowledgable. Big thank you to Yamile, Linda, Paula, Shiraz, and Cecilia. You are all beautiful inside and out. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to learn here. Thank you IBI!

IBI has the tools to be a great school, but where they are lacking is the curriculum and most importantly, the teachers they hire. I took the standard Spa Therapist Diploma, the admissions lady was very helpful, and not pushy on which program I should be choosing, which I liked very much after touring at another beauty school before choosing IBI. For almost my whole program I had the teacher Mary. Mary not only doesn't know how to teach, but she is also extremely unprofessional and not organized. She would give us a 1 hour lunch, but also have us leave 45 minutes early so she could "clean the room" at the end of the day. All in all she was trying to do the least amount of work and leave early for her own benefit, leaving us students to barely any class time. She was on her phone the entirety of the class and I can honestly say I did not learn one thing from any of the classes she ran for my program. All she was doing was reading from the textbook and not explaining anything and constantly just saying "you need to know this for the test" and giving all the answers. Im not sure if Mary will be returning to teach at the school, but if she is and you want to attend IBI make sure you find out first, because I feel very robbed of having the opportunity to learn a lot with that program, but didn't because of the schools inability to hire proper, passionate people. On the other hand, I know all of the skin care teachers are great! Especially Shiraz, I learned so much in her class, and she did a great job teaching with visuals and thoroughly explaining everything. You can tell she is very passionate about skin care! All in all, a beauty school will give you crumbs. The only way you can properly learn is getting your diploma and going out into the work field for yourself. I learned a lot more at my new jobs training than I ever did at IBI. Beauty schools are a big money grab.

This school was an incredible experience with amazing facilities and excellent intructors. Especially Shiraz who is both kind and patient, going through the material carefully Shiraz always made sure that we understood what was going on and helped us progress in our learning. I had a great experience at IBI. The teachers and staff are incredibly kind, supportive, and knowledgeable. There are many courses to choose from, both in person and online. Most importantly, I’d like to thank beautiful Shiraz inside out. She was my instructor who taught me a lot in her class. She thoroughly explained every single detail and went above and beyond to make sure the students excel in the course. Finally, I’d recommend IBI because it is a great investment to your career.

I had such a wonderful experience taking the Microneedling course at the Mississauga location. Right from the start Yasmil was very helpful providing information and assistance. I had to postpone my course last minute due to having COVID and there were no issues accommodating me the following month. The course instructor, Cecilia, provided a thoroughly informative, hands on and personalized experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable & professional. I will definitely be coming back here for any future programs to upgrade my skills.

I have completed the eyelash technician course and the brow technician course here at the international beauty institute. The atmosphere is really clean and the staff is very professional. I will say that these courses are for those who are already experienced in the beauty industry and would like to get a refresher. I see a lot of people say that they don't feel like the teachers cover everything but it is up to the student to keep on learning and growing as a professional especially when it comes to the entrepreneurial side of the beauty industry. Your teacher cant teach you everything, you learn as you go. I will come back to complete more courses.

I started my Medical Aesthetics program in September. The school is great. The staff especially Linda, Shiraz and Cecilia and the classmates I’ve had in all my classes are all amazing. The staff has taught me so much that I didn’t know through theory and practical and overall, they’re very caring and understandable people. I’m going to miss coming here lol! Definitely taking future programs here again! ♥️
