When I went to pick them up for her, they charged $10.00, insisted that she must have "heard wrong." My wife is not hard of hearing, nor inclined to fabricate. I would not do business here again, as their word apparently changes day to day.

With that much in place, and understanding that many of us know each other in this small part of the world, I'll state that Insightful Visions is one of the finest businesses I've encountered in more than 30 years of living on the Sunshine Coast. The dominant eye store on the Coast has started acting like royalty - almost as if the customer works around the store's needs as opposed to the way things should be. Never again. From the moment I walked into Insightful Visions I received first-name service, attention to detail, and cutting-edge technical excellence. I recently brought my daughter in for her glasses, and she was fussed over in the best way possible. She is delighted with her new glasses, as I am with mine. I encourage everyone to turn away from the knee-jerk choice and turn to this outstanding business.

She didn't have any frames to fit me in store so she told me she would order them and it would be 2 - 3 weeks. Well that was 3 months ago in a few days. Went in person to ask what was going on several times. No answers other then sorry not here. No tracking or any way for me to find out when or where my glasses were. Going to another store. Will never go there and would recommend others not to as well. That is just horrible customer service. Wish I wouldn't have waited even this long. Should've known better after 6 weeks or so of no answers.

Being dissatisfied after several visits to the biggest clinic on the coast, I decided to try Insightful Visions. It is definitely the best place on the coast to have your eyes tested and glasses fitted by a highly trained and thorough optician. Susan is a real delight and made me feel heard and valued. She adjusted my bill when the first pair of lenses did not work for me and found lenses that did. Would definitely recommend.

I have emailed, I have phoned and texted with never one response back.Susan gave the test very well and appeared very confident, however every time I wore my new glasses my eyes got worse, so naturally I just needed to talk to her..and never answers back. After my appointment with the test, I paid my money in good faith...however upon receiving them, trying them on and momentarily looking through them (felt very rushed, she had next person) I took them home but was not happy after trying them... as mentioned above, I have never heard back from her...It was my plan to order the second pair for half price that she mentioned, if I called before the three months were up, however I would never deal with this person or company (Blaine and Taylor of London) again...

The proprietor is passionate about her work and a perfectionist; my vision test took much longer than at my former provider's, with several additional measures/tests I've never had before. Susan is also gifted at helping choose frames that best suit me. The result: two new pair of glasses (progressive and "office") that have me looking and seeing better than I have in years. One last note: Susan is doing a heroic job of running her business entirely on her own during this time of business suppression. Any wait is worth the time, in my opinion!
