About inHome inSpections
I was born and raised in Moose Jaw, SK. For the past 12 years I have been active as a carpenter. I received my Journeyperson’s in 2012. In 2019 I decided I wanted to expand my knowledge and become a home inspector. From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to give the best to my customers and that meant getting the absolute best training I could find. After I completed my ‘Carson Dunlop Home Inspectors’ course I was ready and excited to use my knowledge. I want my clients to be assured they are buying a house that they will be proud to one day call home. I pride myself on my attention to detail and helping my clients understand everything about their potential new investment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have nothing but good things to say about inHome Inspections. Our Realtor had given us a list of home inspectors that she has worked with in the past (Joel being one of them). As I was going through all the reviews on google, I still was a bit worried as I have heard horror stories from people about home inspectors. We then decided to ask people we know about their experiences. We were referred to Joel through friends that had recently had their new home inspected by him. They had commented on the fact that he was very responsive, knowledgable, and thorough in his work. They had also recommended purchasing the thermal imaging as well. We put in an offer on our house 2 days before leaving for a 2 week trip to Greece (which was kinda nerve racking!). Our realtor contacted Joel and he responded within the day and was able to do the inspection within 3 days. He emailed us directly to make sure that he had all the info and services correctly that we wanted. We received our inspection, sewer inspection video, and thermal imaging report on the day our house was inspected! Talk about service! We then had time to read through the inspection and was able to book a private zoom call with him to go over the report with him in detail while we were away. Being new home buyers, he made us feel good about purchasing the house based on its great inspection with just minor things needing repair/adjusting. He even offered to provide assistance to us when we move in regarding where things are and fixes.

This was my first time ever having an inspection done and Joel made it a stress free process. He is very knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. During the report process, he paused often to ask if we had any questions or needed clarification, but his explanations, photos and write ups were so thorough, that we were not left with many questions. Buying a house is stressful in the best of circumstances, and Joel made this portion of the process a breeze for me.
