I went to buy a specific book at Indigo in Stoney Creek but they didnt have it. However, one of the employees helped to check it out on the computer but it still couldn't be found. In order to help, she checked other stores in the area and found copies at the Meadowlands store in Ancaster. She had them put it aside for me and I went and bought it plus 2 other books by authors I also like. The Stoney Creek store is closer for me but it is smaller whereas the Ancaster store is quite a bit bigger so has a larger collection/variety of authors. The staff are always helpful at either store and have other options for finding what you like by odering on line with store pick up. Both stores also have a large selection for gift giving, specialty items for holidays, birthdays, weddings, special events, gift cards etc. For those who like one stop shopping, this gives lots of interesting options beyond books, magazines and newspapers.

Super kind woman at cash, very lovely even after a customer gave her a hard time over something out of her control. It’s disheartening to see some people act so rudely to customer service but she remained professional and polite !

I thought it was the best costumer service. The staff were so helpful and friendly. This made for a wonderful memerable outing! Bought two books with their help! ??

Fun place to browse. Definitely makes you want to buy ? books. And please buy books! We need more book stores . And check out the smaller book stores too!

My favourite Indigo store. I was able to find board games nobody else sells and the store kindly honored the online sale price of the game which was cheaper than in store. They have a good selection of Ravensburger board games which are my favourite, very interesting strategy games and some even have solo gameplay. Upstairs there is a great selection of manga which can be an expensive venture as books range from $10-25 per book and often have 10+ books in a series but are always worth it for me, as I reread books. I found the english translated novels by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu and of course bought them all, incredible series. For fans of the series found on Netflix 'the Untamed' and 'Heaven Official's Blessing', these are the novels these series are based on and are honestly the best books I've ever read, still waiting on the next volumes yet to be released. As for discounted books there is a great selection with amazing deals, some crossword books can be found for $3-7 if thats your interest, along with sudoku, wordsearches and lots of interesting books with a variety of genres. They have a rather large clothing area that had some great deals on mittens that were quite warm. I also noticed some pronoun enamel pins on the way out, very stylish. Staff around store are always helpful and cheerful and honestly just seem like they are happy to be there. Checkout lines can be very slow in my experience but I dont even mind the wait because usually I find twenty different things while waiting in line to look at that are ever so tempting to buy. Cashiers are always friendly. Honestly its just the best experience one could ask for in a book store, great variety, nice atmosphere and yummy smell of coffee from Starbucks next door. Also its relatively quiet despite how many people there are shopping, like a library, it makes me love it even more. Its a great place to find a little bit of happiness in your day❤️

Fantastic book store, pretty huge place and if it does not have the book you want you can probably order it. Has a pretty cool kids section and board games. Also has a bunch more than books, a true must try experience.

Went in before Christmas, it was crazy busy. I didn't know exactly the book I wanted and almost left but I asked the woman at the door doing counts and although she was obviously very busy, she directed me happily and with the help of another employee I found exactly what I was looking for. Great experience!! Thank you !! Hubby loves the book ?

I don't like how the books are not burying price tags. When I went looking into the store today I couldn't find the price of the books on them. I find that very annoying. They are pandering towards women in the store quite heavily and not really anything for men which is very disappointing men don't read? They still have a large selection the staff is friendly and very helpful. The store is very clean and they are definitely following covid guidelines
