★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow they need to get up to speed. Squamish Nation has a camera. These guys need you to bring a photo. They arent even up to speed on border crossing regulations. I had to delve for further details because Buddy Haida is Alaska too besides Haida Gwaii.... legally if you have a long birth certificate and are 50%+ = no passport needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reception was super nice and helpful but once I was put through to the status card department the lady was kind of rude. Maybe they were just having a busy day or something. I applied for my sons registration 5 months ago and I still haven't received his birth certificate back yet- yet she sounded extremely put out by my calling to inquire about it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drove up from Seattle to do a status card renewal after reaching the office on the phone and speaking with them, confirming their hours, and telling them I was driving up from Seattle on a Friday afternoon.
Once we arrived, it was 4:30 pm and the receptionist was very rude and said they would not start a renewal because they had to start at least one hour prior to closing. It would have been nice to have been told that on the telephone! The next Monday was a holiday, and we had to leave Canada before getting a status card just because the person didn't mention that one key fact.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So quick, so easy. I was helped right away, and took less than 5 minutes. Just make sure you are prepared, go early in the day. Have your passport photos ready, respect peoples time and everything will go smoothly. Very happy with the service.
