Never go there, they sell fake cigarettes

Unusable passport photo that costed $14.. felt like poor customer service and very rushed and unprofessional.

Dry cleaning - great value for an exceptional clean and press, esp given the Downtown location and prices charged elsewhere. I can't praise these guys highly enough!

I normally don't write reviews, but the previous 2 reviews by @mike lin and @Tio Yeung I find are completely disgusting and how they rate this store untruthfully, I am going to give an honest experience and opinion. Since this is a convenience store close to where I work, I have been a regular customer here for about 3 years. I come here to buy some bag of chips and occasional cigarettes. So what @Tio Yeung wrote is a complete garbage, since this store sells legitimate stores. BC is a strict province to begin with in regards to cigarette laws, and regulations are tough. There are many regular customers to this store buying cigarettes, and is one of popular locations by many employees around the place due to access and friendliness of the store's owner. The owner also freely exchanged one of badly packaged cigarette that I bought before without any questions, so it's quite hard to believe what this reviewer has wrote. Now with @mike lin, obviously this guy also doesn't know how small business works. Not a single local would contest with an owner charging some extra transaction fees when using "credit card" due to high maintenance fees by the credit card companies. There are actually many downtown small convenience stores that don't even accept credit cards for some fare tickets, lottery tickets, and cigarettes due to these reasons. This store owner was kind enough to even allow the customer to use his/her credit card. And nobody questions about the transaction fee because everyone knows how the system goes. If he doesn't like the system, maybe he should seek purchasing one at a bigger franchise shops like London Drugs, Save on Foods, etc since they accept any payment methods without any extra charge. And this @mike lin reviewer talks about tax system and thinks it's unfair, when he is supposed to write as much of unbiased review about a certain place or store. Clearly very biased, subjective, and ignorant. Coming from my experience, the store is not too big, but the owner welcomes with warm atmosphere. I have been to other convenience stores before, and I find many owners looking grumpy or tired, but this one not. The store can sometimes have a long line up when the owner is busy taking photos as they also do some passport photo business, but that would be the only thing I would point out. Otherwise, the experience is always great.

I was skeptical at first since this is a store that sells smokes. I had to get a passport photo taken, but this was the only spot nearby my workplace. The place is fairly small inside, but there is a designated photo booth and the store manager takes the photo for you. Surprisingly, very professional and the processing time took less than 5 minutes. I had experiences of my passport photo being returned since it didn't match the size dimension, but this place knew exactly what it needed. Great service, highly recommended if you need a passport photo taken and live in downtown area.

Just got my passport photos done by them, it was an instant process which I was particularly happy about because I had my passport appointment not too long after. Very friendly staff! Thank you :)

After staples didn’t do my passport to spec, BJ & Sons was on point, never would I have expected how detailed he was. Ensuring the photo was exactly what I needed! Highly recommended this pace.
