Must admit first time we tried Indian Affair we found the food a bit too salty. Much improved this time...the paneer dishes we ordered were very good and the mixed vegetable jalfrezi excellent. Great to have first-class Indian take-out only a short walk from our home...looking forward to trying the many other vegetarian offerings on the menu.

Staff is courteous and pick up is simple. Prices are fair. We're still looking for a chicken dish we really enjoy. The lamb saagwala is our favourite dish - it's perfect. We'll be ordering again.

We had heard great reviews from others and online, but we’d never experienced Indian food that was as good as we made at home. When we first ordered from Indian Affair we were so pleased by the quality and taste of the dishes. Really happy we tried it. Definitely a favourite for us now.

I loved the food and had amazing customer service, The price was reasonable. Although the butter chicken was a bit sweet, I would recommend making it less sweet but it was still tasty. Would Recommend and has become my go to Indian restaurant! :))

I have ordered Dal Makhni from this restaurant. Its taste very bad. I don't suggest anyone to order from this restaurant. The quantity is less than half as you can see the picture. They charge me 21$ for this Dal makhni. You even can't eat it salt quantity is very high. I would never choose this restaurant again.

Very affordable Indian food. Goat biryani (comes with bone) is good which I like better than beef biryani but both are similar except meat. Biryani is nicely spiced in pulav style and dum but not Hyderabadi style. Raita is mediocre. Keema naan is very good and goes well with curries. Goat nihari curry is good but cardamom flavour is dominating a little too much. Packaging for takeout is good. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

Very good food. I passed by many times but never had the chance to try, until we did a takeout the other night. What a delight! The butter chicken and lamb korma were wonderful, and the tandoori chicken was exceptionally tender. Good naan too! Can't wait to have another meal from here!

We've tried many Indian restaurants in Ottawa but so far none of them come close to the taste of food at Indian Affair Takeout. The Chicken Malai tikkas were flavorful and juicy. The mutton seekh seemed a tad dry but the taste was good. Kadhai Chicken was great, a perfect blend of spices and the Garlic Naan was delish too! The taste of their food is probably the closest to what you would get in a restaurant in Mumbai/Delhi. Would definitely recommend!!
