About Icon Dental Centre
With more than 20 years experience in the dentistry field, he has successfully worked nationally and internationally as a family dentist. As a result, he can comfortably establish a positive rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds with various dental needs.
He is a University of British Columbia graduate. He is also a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons and the Ontario Dental Association. Dr. Jafri always strives to achieve the right results for his patients, while maintaining the highest levels of ethics, quality and service.
In his past time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing soccer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had good experiences with Dr. Jafri & Dr. Tait. Dr. Akheel did my implant with no issues, and it healed well. Ysanne did a nice job cleaning my teeth. She was very gentle and personable. The front desk staff are also super organized and always on top of things. The doctors seem very ethical which is a must when dealing with your precious teeth!! They put your health first, and don't recommend un-neccesary procedures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in as a new patient for crown. Dr. Mary Tait and her team were exceptional and exceeded my expectations. My work benefits were going to terminate in three weeks time as my company was getting a new provider. Dr. Mary Tait’s team was able to fit me in on such short notice for the crown prep appointment and another appointment for the crown cementing itself. Her assistant was gentle with the needle which came as a huge relief as I’d previously been to “2nd Avenue Dental” and the dentist there used that needle on me like he was doing cross stitch.
So if you’re shy of needles and want the best and gentlest care I highly recommend Dr. Mary Tait and her wonderful team of women at Icon Dental Centre!
