★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is pretty much the small hole-in-the-wall pub that I'd build myself! Love it!!!
Many might categorize this as a "dive bar" which, in this case, should be a badge of honour. Great bites & the house lager can be sipped on all afternoon.
If you're looking for a great small town bar to sip a decent variety of beers & snack on some good value non-standard pub grub you've now found it.
Do yourself a favour and give HY5 a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sever Randy was super helpful, however the owner proceeded to be severely disrespectful towards my family and I when we asked for food. The service was quick though which I enjoyed thoroughly, but I cannot believe that the owner treats its customers and employees as if we are peasants. I highly do not recommend to any family, friends, cousins, ancestors and any human being to even view/visit this pub during their beautiful trip the Banff. 1 star and very worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped by for dinner and drinks after doing some horseback riding and a brewery tour at Canmore Brewing Company. Had a wonderful time and the bartender/waiter was such a cool guy. Food was delicious. The Margherita Flatbread is perfection. Everything was so fresh. There is outdoor seating and two restrooms, too. Free wifi.
