Worst company/ brokage out there. I wanted to stop my renewal of my policy a month early and was told it was too early and told me to call them when I get my renewal papers. When I got my renewal I called and told them I wanted to cancel, I was told they will MAIL me the cancellation letter but in fact can be emailed to me. The cancellation letter was sent to me on a Friday afternoon, 3 business days before the deadline. I EMAILED the cancellation letter on a Monday and today I just got a letter about my newly quoted insurance and to take effect tomorrow. What kind of business do they ran here. They made me do the ran around but in fact it can easily be cancel/stop my renewal. I would like to talk to someone who is in fact in management and tell them my story and why it has to be this way and why hire people who are just looking to make a buck from their client. Now I'm worried being charge by supposed cancelled insurance and my current one.

I was with hub international for about 5 years. During that time, they changed my account manager about 5 times. Lots of turnover and no one notifies you of who your current contact is. When we got a new car, they charged about $2k higher for my wife insurance than for mine even though she had no accidents. This is where the story gets interesting. IRIS was my most recent account manager. After negotiating back and forth for a month we agreed on a number that was more reasonable. However when I got my invoice it was still the overpriced amount initially quoted. When I asked Iris about that, she said she made a mistake when giving me the quote. I don't know what type of hiring process they go through at hub or if they just randomly pick people off the street. But Iris is always confused, do not reply to emails and seems to have no idea what is going on. Needless to say, I quickly cancelled our service with them and am now happily with Blake from Surex. This was a long review but I hope it will caution people against dealing with Iris and hub international in general. A horribly run company.

I had a policy with this company that I need to review, I attempted to contact the account manager in charge who was Natalie Murphy Owens, I sent her 2 emails which she didn't responded, I left her messages all throughout the week as I had a dateline to renew my malpractice insurance in order to update my yearly college renewal. She finally responded by email by the third time saying that she had received my call but I had to wait in que until she was available, no time line were given. I found her behaviour and to be dismissive, unhelpful and totally unprofessional. I won't do business with this company again. Very poor service.

This particular branch of hub international will continue to receive low reviews because of the management under Jamie Cardella. This so called president runs this office as a high school clique as opposed to a professional financial services organization. High turnover, low staffing in each department, emphasis on sale over service, brown nosing over merit, a culture of bullying and backstabbing are all hallmarks of Jamie Cardella's managerial prowess. To Hub international, remember " the head rots from the top"

Worst customer service compared to every other insurance provider. They will just sell you the policy and forget about it. As you read all the other reviews they are totally correct. Please don't try to go with them as they just wants to rip you off. Worst staff and very poor account manager. They treat you like they are doing you a favor and are doing it for free. They need to learn customer service very badly. I had to beg every time I needed any changes in my policy and the account manager behaves like you are asking for money out of her pocket while the fact is they are charging you a fortune already. Please don't sign any kind of contracts with them and never buy any policies with them. I will never recommend them to anybody.

I just recently moved here from Victoria BC, and did not know how the insurance process worked out here. I was passed to Clive Hills as my insurance advisor, and can happily say it was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Clive was extremely friendly, professional, and was very patient while he explained the Ontario insurance process to me. He made this process very straight forward and made sure I knew exactly what I was signing up for. I will definitely be recommending Clive whenever I get the chance. Thanks again Clive!!
