★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bank offers service in French, English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Pretty impressive! They did not help me withdraw money from my Chinese HSBC account though. A bit disappointed that time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best banking services out there. It pays to bank with HSBC long term. I have recently relocated to Montreal from UK. I have been very well looked after by HSBC especially with my recent move.
1.) i was able to create a Canadian bank account from UK
2.) I was able to get a credit card right away after my arrival in Canada via HSBC. Normally, one would have to wait 3 months before getting a credit without credit history. American express also allow existing customer to get a credit card as soon as on arrival
3.) I was able to get a mortgage from HSBC. I bought a property within a month of my arrival. I could have got mortgages from other banks in Canada. However, HSBC has the best rate.
I was able to get paid as I have a bank account.
HSBC has enabled me to start my life in Canada smoothly.
