We've been to Frink a few times when in the area (fall and summer) and it was great each time. Parking across the road from the COVID-closed discovery centre looks like it could get tight when busy. Parking (~$5) is by the PayByPhone app or by calling a number and using credit card, but beware that cell signal in the lot is very weak. The boardwalk is fantastic and seems to have enough breeze to keep the mosquitoes away (getting there... not so much). Some trails are a little rough, but the boardwalk and access is stroller and wheelchair friendly. From the boardwalk we saw all kinds of small birds, frogs, turtles, snakes, a beaver, swans, etc.). Bring a camera!

Great place for casual hikers and walkers. Trails are well marked and pretty flat, good variety of environments from river and marsh to deep woods. Kids will enjoy the visitor centre as well.

Probably not the best for avid hikers but amazing if you have little ones or a wonky knee. An experience likened to walking through a meadow like forest and marsh smashed together. Great for mushroom spotting and a meander with a pup.

What a great place to visit! Lots of parking (paid, but not expensive.) and accessible trail to the wetlands. The boardwalk was beautiful and well kept. There were places to sit if needed. Lots of wildlife - birds, turtles, frogs, etc. Lots of beautiful foliage and flowers. Took the dog and she loved the sights and smells. Close to Belleville and totally worth the drive.

10 mins drive from Belleville. One of the best trails to walk with beautiful view. Don’t forget to explore the other side of Thrasher Road ( Parking spot ) , There is a side way for the walk . where more Frink Centre trails will introduce you to even more features of the property. Stay safe . Visit our beautiful Bay of Quinte

Love Love LOVE IT! I visited years ago as a kid for one of their school day trip things and honestly I forgot it even existed until someone mentioned it lol, but I'm super glad we went and checked it out because there's so much gorgeous nature there! From the trails to trees to the river and creatures. The one entrance behind the building and about 2 mins in theres HUGE stones covered in moss. I thought i got pictures but apparently I didn't get more than one lol. I was just so excited with how cool they looked so i forgot to snap more lol. But it totally has StoneHenge old world celtic vibes at taht part. Like you can feel something magical AF went down in there and or in those woods at some point in time. I DEFINITELY wouldn't want to get lost there in the dark! FYI There's trail markers so you dont tho (unless your a special kinda person lol) and or you go way off the path/forrest area. So ya, don't that unless you're confident enough you can get back lol. Speaking of magic, creatures and darkness tho there is definitely something more in those woods thn the animals! Sometimes it would just go dead quiet and the birds wouldn't even make a peep and the trees would still. Which BTW There's so many unique trees and so many birdies there already. We seen some crows, gracklings, red tailed squirrel, snakes, a frog. So forewarning come prepared to do a hike because even tho theres trails you can help but wander off them and keep going cause there's so many interesting things along the way! If you love nature and of doing trails with or without your dogs I VERY HIGHLY recommended doing this one! It'd also be a gorgeous spot for a photo shoot in the fall too! ??????
