About Houston Pizza
Four Kolitsas brothers opened the first HP in 1970, on Hill Ave in Regina. They had just immigrated from Greece with a strong work ethic, and a love of food.
Buzz Began immediately about the pizzas ample fresh toppings, outstanding flavour, and the homemade crust that’s crisp on the outside and delectably soft in the middle.
The demand for Houston Pizza grew, and it wasn’t long before others wanted to open a HP franchise. People very quickly came to understand HP not only as a fun workplace, but a great opportunity to learn and grow in the industry.
As our business grew, so has our menu. Our full restaurant menu also features entrées like steak, salad, and our famous dry ribs and souvlaki.

Completely blown away!

*The bar is high here. There are so many great pizza places in Swift Current.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quesadillas were too crunchy and tasted of slightly burnt grill oil and were not steamed at all, which made the contents luke warm. Tea water was not hot enough. Zucchini wedges were not quite cooked enough and were somewhat 'corky' but breading was grease tasting. At least the appetizers were half price. Cream of mushroom soup was the soup of the day, and it was floury tasting. The soup was far too thick and had too much roux. Salad was not freshly washed and spun lettuce, but rather was head lettuce cubed and served. Mediterranean dressing tasted like it had passed its best before date we're sure. If you as a restaurant are charging the prices you are, people will have expectations. Our expectations were left unmet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered 1/2 and 1/2 pizza but we only got one type, the ham was tough and the pizza was raw in the middle. The salad was soaked in dressing and soggy and also tasted of nothing but garlic. Super disappointing, especially for the price. Yikes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just was not good food. Ordered Greek Lemon Garlic Chicken Wing entree with Poutine with Meat sauce and salad. Salad was good, but wings were the worst wings I've ever had, left about 2/3 of that alone, Poutine with meat sauce had something that looked like a thin sheet of plastic in it so I left that, paid $36 with a tip delivery for it. Just gonna stick to pizza next time they're Pizza is pretty good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been coming here for a long time (6-7 years) even through the change of ownership and have never really been disappointed. When they get busy service can be slow but that is expected anywhere. The wings are awesome and cheap on Wednesday. Their half price appy deal (after 7pm everyday and Sunday after 2pm) is an absolutely great deal. Also there 5$ schooners on thursday and Sunday is a crazy deal as well (more than half-price off!) If your looking for a good place to go out for dinner I highly recommend this place!
