House of Wings

Haven’t been here in about 1 year but last night, decided to go for some wings, with a friend of mine. Got there just before 8:30pm and the place was empty, except another table with 5-6 people. We sat and the waiter came with the menu. After deciding what to get, called the waiter back. After the first 2 words, it became clear that the waiter wasn’t understanding very well English. I repeated myself 3 times about what I want (2lbs bbq & blue cheese). Order came pretty fast but to my surprise, it was only mild sauce on the wings. Trying to explain the waitress that this is not what I ordered, seemed to go nowhere so I told her to just leave the wings. And she left… my friend and I figured she went to bring napkins, plates, etc. but that didn’t seem to be the case because she stopped at the bar and started chatting with another waiter. Started waving at her, she eventually saw me, came over and I asked bc for napkins. After she brought what I salted, never saw her again, not even to ask if we want more drinks… beer, water, etc. Now, for the wings. They were OK… absolutely nothing special about them. Which is not how I remembered this place. Their wings were always a notch above the rest. But not this time. They had the crunch but they were dry. Not even the sauce could hide that. Before we left, I ordered 1 lb wings to take home. Ordered flat wings only and extra saucy. Got home, opened the box, half the wings were drumsticks a the extra saucy was only some sauce drizzled on top of the wings. We all understand that restaurants are also taking a big hit during COVID lockdowns and the only way for them to survive is to have the support of the customers. But they also have to provide reliable service and food that is making you go back, again and again.

This is my favorite place to get wings and beer they are always tasty for a quick dinner wish they opened earlier that 3 so I could go for lunch

This is the best chicken wings I ever had in Canada, till date. They serve halal chicken wings with mouth watering delicious flavors. I like their unique strong flavors and the best part, wings are quite big than any other competitors. Trying out them for the first time, Tuesdays special (2 pounds for the price of 1) would be a perfect day to start off.

Tried it for the first time today after seeing all the reviews. We got the dry rub roasted garlic and peppers and crazy maple. The chicken was very chewy and dry. Application of the rub was very uneven, some pieces barely had any seasoning and some were excessively salty. The sauce was very watery. They also don't include any veggie sticks/dips with the wings. Pretty disappointing, especially given their prices. Do not recommend!

Good wings. Service could be better and quicker, but can’t complain overall.

Such great flavor options; 80 flavors and you can customize further. Shirley temple was also wonderful.

We ordered takeout pretty regularly during the pandemic and were always pleased with the food, service and the turnaround times on orders. They have the most consistent quality of food bar none. I'm thrilled to support a local pub and so glad they made it through the lock downs. We are lifers!

Today was my first time trying House of Wings and I ordered 3 pounds of wings for takeout. The young lady on the line was very patient with me and explained how the wings are gluten free and briefly described the flavours. I highly recommend the godfather flavour and we will be returning for sure!!!
