★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Bloor Cinema was one of my favourite places in the world to watch a movie. The seats are better, the screen is better, but I still miss the couch. Had many great chats there. Also, I miss the artist curated content they sometimes had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great, classic old theatre with concessions including wine and beer. Top gallery is a bit of a stretch in terms of sight lines, but outside of that, a big, beautiful screen and a great sound system ... Fantastic place to catch a hot doc ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to a Free of Charge screening of a Peruvian movie held by the Human Rights Watch, Canada. The seating was not bad and screen was good. As per I know one of the oldest cinema theatres in Toronto. A nice visit!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tonight I saw Simu Liu's book tour Q&A and a couple weeks ago I saw my brother's film production graduation projects from Ryerson University, where he was the MC. At Simu Liu I was row B balcony 2, and had to really sit up/forward to see at all, plus a bar was in the way. For my brother's graduation, I was on main level and the view for his speech was perfect! So keep in mind if you are going for something on their stage vs the screen. Staff was very friendly. Servers were great and even collected cups at the end. Ushers were very helpful. Overall great venue!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to go and watch some interesting documentaries! I enjoy outdoorsy and nature ones so nothing better than to watch them in a big screen with a good sound. Even though theater is small it is exactly this what makes it charming. Also lots of places around to eat before or after presentation. Staff was sooo friendly ♥️ went to see the Banff Film festival and it was AMAZING! ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Missed this old places. Staff are still great but movie options were better in the past. Another building with the Rogers name on it. City sold to the highest bidder. Oh well.
