★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local history about a tragic event. The hope slide is unbelievable and you have to see it to appreciate it. The amount of mountain that came down. They have clean outside washrooms and garbage cans and day area for lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing to think that 47 million cubic meters came crashing down displacing a lake over the mountain across from it . The site was 3 1/2 km , the rest area is nice , washrooms ok , 3 electrical car chargers free of charge air for tire checks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is what exactly the place is, a huge face of the mountain that eroded years back. Now, you could visit the place to go through the rock slide and have your own out of this world adventure. My wife and I always come here to do picnic and let the day pass. It's a rugged scenery and you can bring your off-road quads here too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice piece of history that many forget is even there. There are bathrooms but seem a little under cared for, for instance there was feces all over the men's room as of the 27th of August 2021. The view is amazing. There are now charging stations for electric vehicles and room for large vehicles, motorhomes or trailers passing through and looking for an interesting rest stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great views, large parking lot for rv's to park and turn. Pit toilets, so take a spray bottle of soapy water and some paper towels if you are going to sit.

We saw Yellow Belly Marmots Very cool
There is electric charger stations here & washrooms And a Picnic bench There is a info plaque of what happened on this historic site on January 9, 1965 in the Nicolum Valley in the Cascade Mountains It's a 10 min drive east of Hope, BC on highway 3 Updated April 22 2022
