BEST BEST BEST Chinese food! LARGE portions, takeout only, super cheap prices! Honestly one of the few best and cleanest tasting chinese food I have eaten. Big chunks of various Vegetables, Almond Chicken was crumchy and hot, Sweet Sour Pork was legit. Takeout box is heavy full and comes with all condiments needed!. I got the ** $5.99 4-item takeout. They make it to order right infront of you!! How this isnt the busiest, hottest to go to restaurant in town yet, is a benefit to the few that know about this place!!!

this is what you get for $11.00 including tax. Oh and i forgot to take a picture of the big egg rolls which are about 3 inches in diameter included in that price. Also the food is so amazing. We live in Maple Ridge and regularly drive all the way to Abbotsford to get it. Also the staff is sooo friendly and courteous. The picture that I posted does not show the huge container of Almond Chicken. About 12 pieces.

As a chinese food fan, I have to say I think I've officially found my favourite takeout place (sorry Bamboo Palace!) I went to this place just to try it out, and a few months later, I'm still coming back a few times a week. First, the food is very hot and fresh, and tastes absolutely fantastic. I've tried every item on the lunch combo menu. My favourite is chicken chow mein, sweet and sour pork/chicken balls, veggie chop suey, and the egg roll. The chicken chow mein is the best I've ever had from any chinese restaurant that I've ever tried, and I've tried a lot. All the other takeout places only give you the noodles and bean sprouts with their lunch combo chow mein, no meat, but Hong Dynasty actually lets you choose chicken or pork chow mein. The vegetables in the chop suey are cooked to perfection! this is not easy to do as the onions, broccoli, bok choi, and carrots are all different in hardness, yet it never fails to amaze me how they are all with the perfect crunch, yet fully cooked. And the egg roll tastes amazing too. In terms of portions, you will not get more food in any other take-out place PERIOD! The takeout lunch box is always absolutely STUFFED and if you dare attempt to try and finish it all in one sitting, you will find it hard to walk for the rest of the day. You can get 2 meals out of 1 lunch combo of 3 items easily. In terms of price, this is the best-priced lunch combo that I've ever visited. 3 items cost $5.25 tax included. 2 items cost $4.20 tax included. As a comparison, a Dragon Fort 3 item lunch combo costs $6.73. Jasmine Garden 3 item lunch combo costs over $7 for a lot less food. I've attached some pictures of all the items on the lunch menu (other than egg foo yung). Hong Dynasty is not so much an eat-in place, more of a take-out place, although they do have 2 tables if you really want to eat in. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Based on reviews, I decided to try the takeout from this place. Gotta say, when I got there I was absolutely shocked at how filthy dirty this place is. I cannot believe the health department hasn't shut it down. I turned around and walked out, no way was I eating anything that was made there! The dirtiest eating establishment I have seen in my 69 years!

Nice staff but I am not a fan of their food. I only tried 2 items, chicken chow mein and wonton soup. I was looking forward to sipping on broth due to not feeling well, but the broth was sweet, didn't taste like most wonton soups I've had before. Chow mein was dark with noodles cut up to child sized bites. Won't order again.

I ordered Combo E (pork fried rice, breaded almond chicken, and sweet & sour pork) plus an egg roll. The total was $12 and it was a lot of food, easily enough for two people. Everything looked, smelled, and tasted great. Would definitely go back, but next time would skip the egg roll as it wasn't my cup of tea. But having said that, for $1.50, it was huge, so try it, and if you like it, it's a great value. Ironically, I tried to call them back five times after I finished eating, just to tell them how much I enjoyed it, but they didn't answer. Maybe they'll see this review. Not a complaint, just an observation, but I noticed that as the food cooled, it started to taste a little greasy, so make sure you have it while it's hot and make sure to warm up your leftovers thoroughly.

Finally, after trying for more than a week got to try it. No one picked up the phone and went straight to voicemail. Affordable prices with amazing quantity. I ordered Combo B and asked for extra spicy but it was bland unfortunately. All in all it was good.

Chose this place based on the google reviews and am certianly glad i did. Had the dinner for 3 combo. Dare i say it was some of the best chineese food ive had. Super impressed that the rice and noodles were NOT swimming in oil, everything flavoured perfectly not too salty. Man that sweet and sour pork was to die for. Great value too. I will be back again and highly recommended for some of the best chinese food this side of richmond.
