★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update, I gave this place another shot. I was glad I did! Great friendly service great food and absolutely nothing hindered my experience. I think I will for sure make this place regular stop! Changed from 2 to 5 stars exactly the review I would of given the first time I went.
This was my second trip to the Honeypot. I had high hopes after such a good first experience. The wait staff was top notch, coffee's never empty and very attentitive. The food on the other hand was just meh. I ordered steak and lobster for my birthday supper and was greatly disappointed. Lobster and steak were both overcooked. Ordered a medium rare, got medium well, very dry. Lobster was a little chewy but tolerable. Ended up sending the steak back and didn't want a replacement because it would take too long, we were a group of 6.
When the bill came they gave me 20% off my steak when I didn't eat more than one bite. I was appaled, I shouldn't have to pay for it at all! After bringing up my concern they begrudgingly gave me 50% off my meal. I paid 7$ for a steak I didn't touch. I do not think I'll be going back anytime soon. A sad birthday supper this was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone told us you have to check out honey pot ! So my husband and I did last night we ordered ribs with a loaded potato and the meatloaf with mac and cheese with green beans. The ribs were burnt and so dry, the potato was undercooked , on to the meatloaf bacon wrapped and burnt hard as a rock , flavorless mac and cheese ( I don't know how that's possible) the only thing I can say that was actually good was the green beans.......we ended up not eating anything and making sandwiches for dinner. Don't think we will be back with that much of the meal inedible. ☹️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best food in town. Never had a bad meal here. Steak is always delicious, and the spinach dip with pita chips are out of this world. The salads are always so good too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, good atmosphere. Waitress was very tentive. Unfortunately she did screw up 2 of our tables orders but it was super busy in there and I just picked off my onions since they didn't leave them off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to a lot of restaurants across most of Western Canada and I've always got some small issue with them no matter how good. The Honeypot is the only exception, I can honestly say I've always had amazing food and service every single time without fail.
11/10 and the only place I've found with truely boneless wings!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first time to be in Wainwright and at Honeypot Eatery - based on a friend's recommendation! Overall the food was really good especially the salad. The staff are super friendly and helpful and answered our questions with patience! We really liked the interior's vibe and hope we can try the patio in our next visit! I respect how hard they're working during this difficult time and definitely recommend it! Cheers!
