★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Careful. If deciding to buy a new home from these guys, have it checked by a professional for things they miss. Never in my 37 years have I seen a rim joist uninsulated, but I did at some of Avi's builds. Fully finished basement and no insulation at the rim joist. (Drilling from outside for phone line and verified at utility room) Yeah, that's why it's nippy down there and why you may have a moisture problem and possibly mold.
