The choice is easy when your agent is in love with his town, and Rick sure is. He made us feel comfortable and welcomed, and he even bought us a doughnut from the famous Culbert's bakery! He gave great advice, and has a fabulously respectful relationship with his team members. We liked him so much we had him sell our home too, when it was time to leave. Thanks to Rick, Kathy and team for your dedication to your clients!

Being new to the area, we had lots of questions and she was very quick to answer, if by chance she didn't know something she was very quick to follow up. She even provided me with a detailed check list of things I needed with regards to banking, utilities etc which is a first I've seen and shows how committed she is to her clients. Kathy also helped us find a rental place here in town when we were still unsure of purchasing a home. I'd highly recommend using Homefield for your real estate needs.

I had a list of criteria that I was looking for in an agent, and I felt it was important that they be met. My biggest consideration was value. There's a lot of things I can live with, or without if the value is there. I also wasn't in a rush as my home was listed for every possible cent it was worth. Because I had time on my side I felt it was important that I disclose that. In the end, this is all about trust, and I trust Kathy 100% I eventually learned that when she warned me that I wouldn't like a house, she was right every single time. There was two houses that I liked which we made offers on, and instead of getting wrapped up in the moment, she calmed me down on my valuation. She was right as neither house sold. That kind of advice is invaluable as far as I'm concerned. In the end, we bought a place with great potential to use as a future rental, or renovate a little and sell. I can't imagine using anyone else in the future.
