★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The idea of having a cross-discipline rehab hospital is wonderful; however, the execution of the principles is a bit like a "ONE SIZE FITS ALL" clothing. My mom stayed there for 7 weeks and went through an assembly line like rehab process. In her particlar case, the weakest link of her health care team is Occupational Therapy. The quality of care is inconsistent. Some LPN's are very caring and conscientious while most carry the atitude that it is just another workplace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed a month on the rehabilitation program in the aHoly Family Hospital after a stroke treatment in Vancouver General Hospital now I am home and trying to improve And some days i reflect o how extraordinary personal Kindness I met on both places I called the nurses angels ii digise,They created so nurturing and positive flow of working environment I sometimes think. I am missing the Humans. I met there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother Doris Lavaggi stay there after her knee surgery she was 77 years young and the rehabilitation was great as well as the food she stay there for 45 days Doctors & staff , are very good you can't expect better. we thanks GOD and the Noons who found this place also to people to donate to keep this place going.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not good news. As of Aug 14/20, Holy Family has the second most COVID deaths out of all long term care facilities in BC. 21 residents in LTC have passed away due to COVID. Holy Family has had more COVID deaths than Lynn Valley Care Centre. The owner Providence Health Care has some of the best minds in Vancouver. Its a shame that they failed so badly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The long term care beds are very old, and cramped. Holy Family Hospital has 84 beds in shared 4 bed wards. It is a decrepit warehouse for the elderly. It is extremely difficult to maintain proper infection control in these 4 bed wards. These wards should be shut down and replaced with a modern care home with single private rooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 4th COVID outbreak at Holy Family, which was declared on November 13th, is now over. It has been a very stressful time for residents and families. 4 outbreaks is too much. We have a complete fail here and this place needs to be shut down. The Providence Health Board also needs to resign.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay away! It is heart-wrenching to hear that there have been 19 COVID related deaths at Holy Family Hospital as of Jan 29, 2020. Holy Family has 84 beds in 4 bed wards and COVID spread like wildfire. The Providence Health Care Board were fixated with the glitz and glamour of building a brand new St Paul's Hospital and they forgot about the seniors rotting away in decrepit 4 bed wards at Holy Family. Shame! The Providence Board should resign en masse! How can the public trust Providence with cardiac surgery when they can't look after seniors?
