★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was during the summer of 1960 that a group of parishioners obtain the permission of the parish priest to investigate the possibility of building a separate school for the holy cross parish. A new four room school was open September 1961 at the cost of $80,000. Currently the school has grown and have close to 550 students from junior kindergarten to grade 6.
