Holiday Inn Express & Suites Airdrie-Calgary North, an IHG Hotel

We had lost of fun in the pool which is kept spotless, The rooms are clean but the beds were very hard. We heard lots of conversations through the thin walls not to mention constant thumping and walking. The housekeeping staff were the best anywhere! The front end staff were great as well. The breakfast was very poor but with covid restrictions I understand! Good hot coffee and oatmeal though.

Even prior to checking in, I called more than once to verify the ever changing COVID protocols as I wanted to be prepared. I spoke with Cheryl on more than one occasion and she was always extremely friendly and patient with all of my questions. We had zero issues checking in, the room was extremely clean and comfortable, the pool and hot tub areas were clean and well maintained, there was an ample stock of towels both in bathroom and pool, we were welcomed to a hot breakfast the next morning, this stay was absolutely flawless. We hadn't felt this relaxed in literal years. Even after our stay, I lost some Rx pills and called the front desk. I spoke with Megan who was equally friendly and even offered to take my information if they found them. From the front desk staff, to the employee who recommended the breakfast cinnamon buns to the breakfast bar attendant, I could tell everyone was working together to ensure they were providing the best guest experience and that they did. Sending a huge thank you to everyone for their efforts in making it such a wonderful stay and my only wish was that it could've been longer! You have a wonderful team in Airdrie and I can't wait to come back! THANK YOU!!

Very nice hotel, clean and modern room, delicious breakfast! The staff are very friendly and the pool was a hit with the kids.

We spent a night last minute with our kids, and it was a lovely hotel. Clean, great pool, good food.

Positive: Very clean. Great breakfast. Negative: The room pictures showed a walk in shower, but it was a tub with a safety bar.

Checked in very late so they were extremely accommodating. The late night attendant was on their own so we waited 20 minutes before they gave us our room key. Quiet room and the free breakfast had great bacon.

My company booked this hotel for a 2 day business trip to Airdrie. It is conveniently located for our client but also for anyone who is traveling to Calgary. It made a good impression. The hotel appears new and all the public areas were airy, neat, and clean. The room was similarly airy, neat, and clean and I had plenty of room and all conveniences. I stayed on the third floor and faced the front of the hotel. I had no problem with noise. I would rate the free breakfast as better than average for hotels of this type. Overall my rating would have been very good anyway but then something happened. I became ill and couldn't travel. My reservation changed, sometimes on a daily basis, until I had stayed in my room for two weeks. This is when this hotel distinguished itself. The staff were absolutely friendly, helpful, efficient, and I am now going to use a word I don't use very often - kind. They anticipated my needs and often volunteered to do things which are not part of their jobs. They brought breakfast to my room, made sure I had plenty of water and juice to drink, offered to get me cold/flu medicines, and were just generally very solicitous of my health. I did not have a single staff interaction which was not excellent but I would like to mention two people by name because of their help and attention. Sonja Cuthbert (General Manager) and Cheryl Medeiros (Director of Operations) were unfailingly wonderful every day. I am going to make a point of telling family, friends, work colleagues, and acquaintances about how well I was treated by this hotel and its staff. I will make an effort to stay at Holiday Inn Express whenever I have a choice. And to the staff - thank you again.

Perfect for families with kids. Room design is thoughtfully well laid out to give a lot of space. More than enough free parking space, breakfast is complimentary and really good. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Pricing is fantastic for what they offer.
