If you are planning a trip to nearby areas please do visit Eugenia fall, it is actually nearby to Hoggs falls and is a great place to visit, worth to go to click beautiful pictures of you with your loved ones. Plus, I also encourage you to visit Old Baldy Conservation area, it is also located nearby and views are worth going for. Enjoy :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice short hike from the (free!) parking lot to get to these falls. Once at the falls you’ll have to use a rope to get down, but it wasn’t super difficult. The water was cool and refreshing, and the water pressure was incredible for such a small waterfall. Not exactly deep enough to go swimming in, but sufficient for a quick dunk.

This place is more suitable for people who want to hike and relax at falls. For non hikers, try to plan more places around to enjoy your day.
Parking is available and free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second time visiting and enjoyed again spending time by the falls - nice hike with some steep spots for a nice challenge, lots of tree roots to jump over and a set of stairs to climb - bathroom is a porta potty (small parking lot so had to park along the road but no issues with that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view of the falls is nicer than Eugenia falls and in my opinion, you will get better photos from this area. You can go to the bottom of this falls via rope system to assist you with the descent. Water flow was strong so you will feel the mist like it is in Niagara falls. Falls is very close to the parking lot and easy hike. I hiked from this area to Eugenia Falls and it is a 14km return hilly trip. But trail is good, quiet area too. #ontario #brucetrail #hoggsfalls #hikelife

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this place! Went on Sept 26 and it was just perfect! Cool fall air, sunshine, warm enough to enjoy and only a few people on a Sunday afternoon. Great place to walk a dog or to hike down the steep hill to the falls, take nature pics. Bring a hiking stick and mucky hiker boots as it can be slippery and muddy. Probably water shoes in summertime so you can walk in the freezing mountain water.

Winter pictures are from January.
Crampons are a must if you wish to hike down to the falls in the winter.
There is a rope to help.
