But their biggest asset by far is Kim Gurney, Sales Rep. As a customer of Hofland for almost 12 years, Kim has provided me with the best customer service I have ever received. Anywhere. She is extremely knowledgeable, but also incredibly attentive, hard working and quick with questions or concerns. I honestly could not run my business without her.

As a business owner, It is a real disappointment to find out that your retail customers can open an account here and purchase from Hoflands directly. People that are in the floral business should speak up and voice their opinions if you think this is important.

I was familiar with Hofland because the floral shop I worked at used them. I have had such an amazing experience working with Anita as my sales rep. She’s attentive and understanding, and has made some very great changes to my orders to ensure I get optimal service for how much I’m ordering with them. The pandemic has caused a few shortages and replacements last minute, but I appreciate that she hand sorts all of her client’s orders to try to make sure no bad product is shipped out in her watch. The prices are a little more than some other wholesalers but I’m very impressed with the selection and variety. I also love that I can get all my essentials here and it’s well stocked. Can’t say enough nice things about Anita and I look forward to seeing quality and supply improve after the challenges of the pandemic!

Horrible customer service, in a condescending way stated I need to spend $200 (insinuating we could not afford it) as well as a business number (as though we were not). I was looking at the brochure and the lady at customer service also ripped the brochure out of my hand which was rude. If the manager could please hand over contact info I would like to discuss this matter in further detail.

I spoke to a lady on the phone earlier today trying to purchase a large quantity of flowers for February 5th for an event (I'm a wedding planner and am on the hunt for a good flower vendor). The woman on the phone asked for my customer number which I regrettably informed her I did not have directly in front of me (I have purchased from this establishment before). She asked me to hold on, to which the phone went silent. I responded a minute later and asked if it would help if I gave her a phone number so she could perhaps retrieve my account. She immediately started talking over me trying to explain that that was what she was doing ... if the phone went silent, how was I supposed to know that she was checking for a phone number? Regardless, the phone number would've been my father's and she could not have retrieved an account from my caller ID (which is what I assume she was trying to do). I tried explaining the same when again she tried talking over me. I ended the call since I do not want to work with vendors who do not understand the basic skills it requires to hold a conversation with a customer. I had high hopes for this company as my dad was good friends with some of the employees and have ordered from there before. Never again.
