I think these people are scamming people who rely on mobility devices to get around. My power wheelchair has been in and out of hme for the past 4 1/2 months. The 1st time it was sitting there for 12 weeks waiting for simple battery change. Then once $ was confirmed they said it also needs a caster, part of the $750. When I finally got it back there was a problem with the wiring, yet another $750 cost. Not only that but the loaners they send don't work properly. The 1st time the charger they sent didnt work properly and I'd have to carry it with me wherever I went because the loaner chair had its own issues. This loaner I am using now the steering controller flops back and forth like a wet fish. I depend on my chair as my legs. They know this but are scamming me because I am a woman in a nursing home. They think I don't know what they're doing but I'm a smart lady.

I can't rate less of one star HME unreliable company having issues with my wheelchair that's never been fixed. The tech person comes to fixed the brakes 5 times and still not working What a waste of time and money

I would just like to say thank you to HME for their polite service at the front desk and their prompt service for getting my parts ordered and in on time. With the way things are right now, use all did a great job. Blessings. William.

One star is too much for this company. A few years ago, I had a bad experience with the equipment of this company. And this time. Like a few years ago, there is no change in better customer service. By Occupational Therapy, we got a new brand HOYER from this company, twenty days ago, and they came twice to repair or replace the battery and control box for the hoyer, but it didn't work. And it isn't clear when this device will arrive. Very long service and very poor. I don't recommend HME to anyone

I had an amazing experience with HME when it came to getting my father's medical equipment after surgery. I dealt with Laurie Grech-Vennare, who was both compassionate and professional. The warehouse staff worked fast to complete my order and ensured I received the equipment within 24 hours, which eased the stressed of getting my house ready for my fathers discharge from the hospital. Highly recommend to anyone who needs supportive equipment for themselves/their love ones.

No issue with the wheelchair my father received. Where they lose points is the customer service I received from Jennifer in their Burlington office. I’d been waiting several months for an invoice. I called and emailed, with no response. Finally on Apr22/22, I received an email with a form and invoice attached. As I was out of town, I replied that it was difficult to complete the form on my mobile device, but I would do so prior to May 13, when I had access to a full screen computer. Jennifer replied that she had taken over files from a previous co-worker and her job was to clean things up and that payment was outstanding since Nov. She also stated they would take back my father’s wheelchair if payment was not received! I’d had no correspondence ever until Apr22/22, and had been waiting on an invoice (which was also dated Apr22/22, not Nov/21). Since when is payment demanded with a threat to take my Dads wheelchair back within 30 days of an invoice date? While they may have had staffing issues with billing, this was a rude way to treat me. Not impressed HME!

Thank you Sarah, Roberto, Mike and HME for your help in getting a new mobility chair wheel for my disabled friend. I had reached out to the manufacturer as well as several other dealers, but it was the people at HME who understood the importance of my friend's reliance on his mobility chair. They really stepped up quickly, kindly, and generously. Nice one!

Amazing customer service! Tina and Jim really helped us out when we were trying to get set up to bring my dad home. These two went above and beyond and made sure everything was here on time. I would highly recommend using their services. The gentleman who brought the bed was awesome as well. Thank you all, I really appreciate your help in a stressful situation!
