★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was known the Chilco Stanley Park Bus Loop. Streetcar service to the park used this location from the early 20th century.
Chilco Bus Loop was eliminated due to notorious left turn across 3 lanes of traffic at Georgia Street with no traffic lights.
On May 2000, Vancouver City Council approved a plan to introduce trolleybuses back to Stanley Park with a new bus loop at the parking lot near the Children's Farmyard and the Stanley Park Pavilion. Once the new bus loop opened, the plan was to landscape this area and returned to park land.
