To how you feel about the 'face' you want on your business, to who you are trying to appeal to, to the look and feel of the image you have in your head. They adjust and then listen some more. I have had Hilary Little Ideation & Design implement two designs over the past five years and each time I have loved the outcome. Now I have her designing my new web presence and I am so excited by the results I cannot wait to go live. Consummate professional, easy to work with, and I will never go anywhere else. I cannot recommend this professional highly enough.
