OK Rosetown, SK, a small town in the middle of the prairies - not a place anyone would expect any kind of fine dining ie high quality food of any kind. BUT Surprise! Highway Host was a truly delightful find. Their "East Indian" dishes were a culinary extravaganza! Subtle flavours not hidden by hot spices (we did have our selections as "hot" but wow what flavours) we were all in oral extacy! Definitely worth the drive out to Rosetown.

This was a great surprise. We asked someone in town what would be a good place for lunch and they recommended Highway Host. Now that we've eaten there I would recommend it to. Great food and friendly service. Great alternative to the fast food places.

DO NOT EAT THERE!! Coffee was cold, stuffed mushrooms were cold, burgers smelled and tasted rancid, fries were dripping with grease. Bathrooms were disgusting. Probably the worst place we have ever ate.

The food was delicious. I had the chicken korma and my friend had the chicken cordon bleu. Both were very good.

I would not eat here. Stuffed mushrooms are not good, half frozen when we got them, mashed potatoes was a string, meatballs over cooked and under cooked, very over priced and when I paid with the machine they gave themselves a 10% tip without me knowing until I looked at the receipt!

I really wanted to like this place. I love a small town gem, but the food was not very good. We both tried one of their East Indian dishes. I wanted the prawns malaikari, but they no longer have prawns, so I agreed to try it with chicken instead. The texture of the chicken was just really off, and it really turned me off of the entire dish. I ordered the malaikari sauce mild because I’m pregnant, but it was just fairly tasteless. I also ordered the rice/naan combo. Definitely not basmati rice, and the naan seemed store-bought. Overall, I was disappointed. I tried my partner’s lamb dish, which I did like more. Service was a bit slow, but friendly.
