Along with doing that so incredibly well , the church has created an Amazing , diverse and family oriented environment which makes anyone feel welcome. Just like Jesus Christ Preached , HGC treats everyone equally and as one . On top of that , the messages they share of Christ, the worship they put together along with many other programs they do are simply incredible. HGC’s ability to understand what’s happening today and relate that to what Christ had taught , makes it so unique in todays Christian society.

Little did I know there was a gem of a church tucked in a neighborhood in Scarborough. I was greeted by friendly people when I arrived and ushered graciously to a seat. The worship was lively and I felt encouraged to join in, with the words on a screen it was easy to follow along. The message was engaging with humor and story telling that drew me into the gospel message. I heard how much God loved me and afterward I was warmly welcomed by people sitting around me. I felt like I was wanted and part of the family. It has been almost 3 years and I have a family at Highway. It truly is a place to belong and flourish.!

I was at a low point in my life and I knew I could not rely on my own strength and I prayed that the Lord would lead me to a place where I could be closer to Him. He lead me to Highway Gospel and from the day I set foot in this church I knew I was home. The church members were so very friendly and welcoming. I was greeted with open arms and warm genuine smiles. That personal attentive touch made a world of difference to me. After 5 years I still thank God everyday for helping find a place where I belong.

My sister is a member and has invited me to ladies' events and our family to Easter Service. I have always felt welcomed. There is a warm, genuine family atmosphere. The sermons were interesting and referred to the Gospel. This is the kind of church you can grow in. If I lived in the area, I would attend this church.

From the beginning I felt a great connection with the staff and they made me feel I was home every time I was there. I was alone and found a Church family. The first time i attended along with my friend, I felt like home and the staff and congregation welcomed us with open arms. It will be 2 weeks now and i am already feeling excited to attend every Sunday. They immediately attended to you once you arrived and made sure you got the full experience walking with God. They are truly a blessing and i am glad i found this place to call home away from home. If you require help, they are always there to assist you in any way they can.
