★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such an amazing camp site ! I took my 5 year old son and my fiance and we loved it. New washrooms, great company and lovely staff. The showers are cold unfortunately, but at least there was not one bug in site. I've been going for the past 8 years with a tent and let me tell you, it is so relaxing and quiet.
Not much to do AT the spot, but sandbanks beach is just 10 minutes away!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent 10 days at Hideaway right on the shores of West Lake and it was wonderful. The people were friendly and very helpful - escorted us to our site and came back to make sure all was well. They recommended a great food truck that specialized in wings not far down the road. The site itself was spacious, nice mature shade trees and very quiet. We even got to watch nesting Scarlet Tanagers feeding their babies. I highly recommend this park and would definitely go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed there from Thursday to Sunday. Great location. My kids loved the play ground area, beach/ water. Only a short drive from/to sandbanks ?. The cleaning staff told a fellow camper the showers were for seasonal sites only ?. Owner only accepts cash or certified cheques. I have a large trailer and there was lots of room to get set up?. Owner seemed to keep to the office ?. Lots of friendly campers. I plan on going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful campground and trailer park. Mike is absolutely brilliant, kind and very accommodating. The park itself is clean, the people are kind and friendly. We felt very safe walking through the park during the evenings, and leaving our stuff for the day to go to the beach. Definitely will be back again. Family friendly and pet friendly as well, which is nice.
